Orc Accused of Keeping Pet Men
Locals have raised concerns after an orc was discovered living with several human men. The men insist they are there voluntarily and describe the arrangement as "surprisingly supportive.
An orc has found herself at the centre of controversy following reports that she is keeping several human men as pets.
The allegations emerged after locals noticed a number of men regularly accompanying the orc throughout the region, carrying supplies, complimenting her armour and following her from location to location.
The orc denies all allegations.
“They’re not pets,” she explained.
“They’re emotional support humans.”
The men involved appear largely content with the arrangement.
One was asked whether he wished to return home.
“Absolutely not,” he replied.
“She told me I looked strong.”
Witnesses report that the men are well-fed, well-groomed and frequently rewarded with praise for good behaviour.
The situation has divided opinion throughout the realm.
Critics argue that the practice is unusual and potentially exploitative.
Supporters point out that the men appear considerably happier than they did beforehand.
A spokesperson for the Unseelie Court confirmed that no laws currently prohibit the ownership of emotional support humans.
At the time of publication, the orc was reportedly attempting to teach one of them how to stop running into obvious traps.
